Dear [NAME]

I feel I must begin my message to you with an apology for the staff absenteeism this week.  Unfortunately staff in any organisation do from time  to time take sick leave due to illness or injury; however I can assure you that we have put measures in place to ensure that our students are not sitting idly in classrooms.

All the affected classes have been covered on the timetable and students have received work and are being professionally facilitated.

I would like to thank you all for your patience and understanding.  Hopefully by next week our affected colleagues will be back in the saddle. We wish them a speedy recovery.pinkgirl1

On a lighter note, I hope you all enjoy the long weekend, and I wish all our Matric students a happy and memorable Matric Dance on Saturday night.

Yours sincerely

Grantley College is proud to announce that the formal opening of its brand new sports facility will take place on Saturday 15 May 2010.

The days activities will have a World Cup theme and will be an enjoyable and fun day for the whole family.

This Saturday will be compulsory for all students and also be on our major fundraisers for the year.

To this end we will need your help with sponsorship/contribution towards one of the stalls or prizes or vouchers for the grand raffle.  We are also looking for parents to help organise the days events.

Your childs tutor will be in touch with more details in the near future.

Please put Saturday 15 May in your dairy and join us celebrating the opening of our sports field and help us to  raise money for future projects.

SUSPENSION FROM COLLEGE

A student will be suspended from the College for a period of no less than two days if he or she earns more than three detentions in a term or fails to attend the 3rd Saturday detention of the formal procedure.
